The story of WorldWicks
It all started in the tiny kitchen of my college apartment. My roommate and I gathered all of our old, almost completely used candles together and decided to combine all the leftover wax into one candle. We melted and poured the remaining waxes all into one jar, and the result was a multi-layered, multi-colored, multi-scented masterpiece. This sparked an idea and a love for pouring candles.
The very first candle I ever made and sold was the North Carolina candle. I had seen state-themed candles before, but I felt that just one scent really couldn't capture the entirety of all that NC has to offer. I wanted a scent that represented each of the three regions of my home state, and with this idea, WorldWicks Candles was born.
Now, we offer a range of inspired, hand-poured candles all with three layers, including a candle for each of the 50 states. I love bringing the nostalgic scents of each state into your home!
I hope that with each layer, you are brought to a time and place that feels like home.
Love, Abby
